Results : The patient underwent to emergency cesarean section which evidenced premature single baby and partially placental separation. Methods : A Case Report of a pregnant 36-years-old, Gesta 2 Para 1, 34 weeks, with concealed abruptio-placentae and fetal distress complication. Objective : To describe the clinical presentation, risk factors and management of concealed abruptio-placentae. Given the facts of the maternal complications (such as hypovolemic shock) and fetal complications (brain damage caused by the interruption of oxygen or nutrients), it is obvious that the treatment should be sought immediately for any type of stage of this condition. More than 40% of cases can not be identified. Although the classic symptoms of placental abruption have been well described, the signs and symptoms may vary considerably. When it occurs, however, the results can be life-threatening, and often requires an emergency cesarean section and intensive care of the newborn. Placental abruption is a rare complication of pregnancy affecting less than 1% of all pregnant women.
